Terms of Service

Effective 27 October 2026

These terms apply to BanditDB Cloud and the BanditDB Console (the “Service”), provided by Dynamic Pricing Ltd. (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the organization you sign up for.

1. The Service

BanditDB Cloud is a hosted decision engine. You send it context and outcomes through the API, SDKs or MCP, and it returns decisions. The self-hosted edition of BanditDB is open source under the Apache License 2.0. That licence, not these terms, governs it.

2. Your account

  • You sign in with Google, and you must give accurate details.
  • You are responsible for everything done with your account and your API keys. Keep the keys secret, and revoke any key you think has leaked.
  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract for your organization.

3. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • break the law, or use the Service to make decisions that unlawfully discriminate against people;
  • send special-category personal data (health, biometric, political or religious views and similar) unless you have a lawful basis and we have agreed to it in writing;
  • try to access other customers’ data, probe or overload the Service, or get around rate limits or usage metering;
  • resell the Service without our written agreement.

We may suspend accounts that breach this section. Where we can, we will tell you first.

4. Your data

You own the data you send to the Service, and the models it learns from that data. We use it only to run the Service for you, keep it secure and support you. We do not sell it or use it to train models for anyone else. You are responsible for having the right to send it to us. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Plans and fees

Prices are listed at banditdb.com/pricing. Cloud is billed per decision. One predict call, or each item in a batch, counts as one decision. During the beta, new organizations receive free credits, and we will not charge you until you agree to a paid plan. Enterprise plans are invoiced annually under a separate order form, which overrides these terms where the two conflict. Fees are exclusive of taxes. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice of a price change.

6. Beta and availability

The Service is in beta. We work to keep it available and your data durable, but we do not guarantee uptime unless an Enterprise order form says so. Features may change. We will give reasonable notice before removing anything you depend on.

7. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the Service, and delete your organization from Settings, at any time. We may end your access with 30 days’ notice, or immediately for a serious breach of these terms. Before we close an account for any reason other than a breach, you will be able to export your data.

8. Disclaimers and liability

Apart from what these terms expressly promise, the Service is provided “as is”. You remain responsible for the decisions you act on. To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits. Our total liability is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will email account owners at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the change.
